Shoulder muscles stabilize over 20% of our body weight by supporting the weight of the head and entire arms—so they can easily become overworked. Additional strain caused by stress, musculoskeletal issues, or prolonged poor posture (e.g., working at a computer or leaning over a phone) leads to chronic shoulder muscle fatigue, poor blood circulation, headaches, and consequently to the formation of trigger points, i.e., myofascial pain of varying intensity. For this reason, the ArmRelief TensionTamer massager for the PW 770 massage chair was developed to properly care for the arm muscles and ensure their effective recovery.

How it works: A smooth, soothing kneading and grasping massage.

The design of the ArmRelief Tension Tamer massager resembles a pair of human hands extending from the backrest of the PW 770 chair. Just like real hands, the massager has movable thumbs that massage the back of the arms, while the remaining “four fingers,” as if hidden in a glove, cover the arms from above and extend forward.

The ArmRelief Tension Tamer performs a kneading-and-gripping massage by moving the upper part and the thumb in sync, while adjusting the spacing to precisely massage the entire range of the arms from the neck to the shoulder girdle. This massage function is available in many full-body massage programs as well as in programs specifically targeting the upper back, where it can also be fully adjusted separately for the left and right sides.

The PW 770 chair’s massage head moves within an expanded range of motion (L-Shape), precisely scanning the user and adjusting the massage based on body type and size. The massage, from the gluteal region all the way up to the neck, is precisely tailored to you and your needs.

There are 23 automatic programs available, tailored to specific body zones, times of day, types of activity, or ailments:

• Programs for specific body parts with different characteristics, e.g., gentle neck and shoulder massage, lower back recovery.

Additionally, you can create your own manual program by selecting a back area and specifying the massage technique.

Massage techniques

The PW 770 massage chair’s robotic system replicates 15 back massage techniques, including kneading, tapping, shiatsu, rolling, and others. A new feature is 4D massage adjustment, allowing you to adjust the depth of muscle penetration in real time. Additionally, massage techniques can be customized by adjusting force, speed, intensity, width, and range of motion. This massage effectively relieves stiffness across the entire back area, and thanks to the backrest heating function up to approximately 50 degrees Celsius, sore areas will find relief more quickly.

Innovative leg massage 

PW 770 – a massage chair that will take care of your tired legs. This exclusive feature offers a sensational compression massage of the calves combined with a kneading circular motion and a shiatsu roller. Additionally, the built-in foot massager relieves stiffness across the entire sole of the foot using numerous airbags (including those dedicated to the Achilles tendon) and several massage rollers focused on the foot pads and plantar fascia. All this is made possible by innovative, heating air cushions that are strategically placed to perfectly target pain points. 

A new generation of full-body air massages

Air cushion massage is a great complement during recovery or rest. The PW 770 chair is equipped with the Fast Pressure System—a new generation of air pressure regulators that allow air pressure to move very quickly between the cushion chambers, creating the effect of human fingers at work. This system is used, among other things, to massage the feet, calves, thighs, forearms, and hands. Additionally, in key areas, the air cushions have a specially designed shape: the cushions on the inner parts of the hands feature micro-protrusions to stimulate receptors, while the cushions near the heel are shaped like fingers for precise stimulation of the Achilles tendon. Could you imagine a more comprehensive massage?

Chair Reclining + Zero Gravity

The PW 770 massage chair reclines using electrically controlled actuators, allowing you to set any recline angle and adjust the footrest to any height. Thanks to sensors located in the foot area, the chair automatically selects the optimal footrest length, and additional adjustments allow you to individually customize the leg lift height. You can also use the touchscreen to activate the pre-programmed Zero Gravity position. The Zero Gravity position in the massage chair places the user’s body in the most relaxing human posture (Neutral Body Posture). This is the posture an astronaut’s body assumes when falling asleep in zero gravity. In this position, all muscles, tendons, and ligaments are most relaxed. Therefore, it is the optimal position for massage.  The PW770 reclines to this position at the touch of a button, and it is the recommended position to select before each massage program. No matter how far back you want to recline the chair, thanks to clever technology, only 10 cm of free space behind the chair is required.

Pro-Wellness chairs feature the innovative Safe Energy system, which keeps electricity consumption—and consequently the cost of a massage—extremely low, averaging just 2 groszy for a 20-minute massage session. A family of five enjoying a full massage session will spend a total of about 10 groszy. What’s more, Pro-Wellness chairs consume only 0.0005 kWh during one hour of standby mode, which amounts to just over 3 PLN for the entire year.
